Congratulations to everyone who shot at CJAL this weekend! Congratulations to Cleve for another really big team score, first 2100 of the season.

In the overall standings, Cleve take a narrow lead and Guildford will need to beat them next month to deny them the trophy. Wallingford strengthen their hold on third place, but it remains very close behind them. A 5th place for Alton & Four Marks sees them move off the bottom of the table.
Cleve - 26
Guildford - 25
Wallingford - 18
Andover - 15
Chessington - 13
Deer Park - 11
Supermarine - 10
Alton & Four Marks - 9
Burleigh - 8

Well done to our high scorers in each division this month!

With first and second at the last two legs, it looks likely this year's title will go to one of those teams. It's very close in the race behind them though, with 3 points separating the next four teams.

It's the indoor season again, must be CJAL time!

We have three new clubs this year - Alton & Four Marks, Burleigh & Chessington. Who will be challenging at the top of the table, or will Cleve run away with the trophy again this year?

The first leg is now confirmed for 10th and 11th November at Supermarine, Andover & Guildford. Counting the days!

I'm delighted to say that The Archery Shop are sponsoring the league again this year, thanks for your ongoing support!

After the snow last week we had to finish the league finals in "postal mode". The last team finished yesterday evening, so we can now finally announce the results of the league!

Deer Park finally got the win over Cleve at the finals, but it wasn't enough to prevent Cleve from taking the title after 3 wins from 3 during the season. Guildford remained solidly in third all year, and the chasing pack remained close with Wallingford taking the lead this time from Andover and Supermarine.

Individually the standard was very high with four scores over 550 including all three boys U18 medallists. Riley Spencer-Nice and Molly Peters led the fields at U18 for Deer Park, with Will Hardy edging a tight U14 boys competition for Cleve, and Lauren Levy of Guildford taking the girls U14 win.

The final standings are:
Cleve Archers 23 points and the title
Deer Park Archers 21
Guildford Archery Club 16
Andover Archers 10
Wallingford Castle Archers 7 points with aggregate score 7390
Supermarine Bowmen 7 points with aggregate score 7283

Congratulations to all of the archers who took part over the season, there have been many personal bests and happy faces. We look forward to seeing you during the outdoor season!

The first season of the league has been really successful, and it would not have been the same without the support of Carl and The Archery Shop Ltd, who have provided target faces, medals and the trophy.

If you are interested in joining the league for the 2018-2019 season, do get in touch!
