What a stunning day “Up North” Bolton Old Links Golf Club was so happy to have made the 4 hour drive back to where it all started those many moons ago, playing around the Bolton area, couldn’t remember these incredible views of Manchester City, the Yorkshire moors, Liverpool & even North Wales (must have been raining too much:) Big thanks to John Scholes - Darren’s brother being on the bag for such a lovely day reminiscing where it all started😊🙏💛

Excited today for a chance to compete with the best +50 players on the planet.
Was not sure about competing earlier in the week due to niggling injuries, coaching responsibilities etc. but now that the time has arrived, feel so alive, so grateful and so thankful to be still physically able to move as good as in my prime & to give it my best.
The whole goal is to stay in the present moment the entire day & enjoy every second, whatever happens, in the grand scheme of things, just doesn’t matter what the outcome will be, will rest knowing I gave it 💯 on every shot✨🙏💛

Thankful for the opportunity to be a part of this year’s Sand Martin’s Pro-Am - course was in fantastic shape, tricky windy 🌬️ conditions later in the day, grateful the game was in decent shape & glad to be out on the course after a couple ongoing injuries has forced a change in practice🙏

A small group format ensures personal attention from the coach and a comfortable pace of learning.

Sessions take place in the state-of-the-art Performance Studio – completely weather-independent, with the opportunity to play some of the world’s most iconic courses through advanced simulator technology.

Our Holiday Golf Camp combines intensive training, team tournaments, simulator challenges, and exciting final competitions with prizes.

We focus on developing technique, strategy, and on-course confidence — all within a motivating and inspiring environment designed to help young players grow and compete at their best.

This partnership goes beyond supporting Simon in specific professional challenges, including his recent participation in the European Legends Tour 2026 Qualifying School in Turkey and represents a commitment to strengthening local sports and educational programmes, enabling Simon to inspire the next generation of young athletes, elevating and developing regional talent.

Simon is also a huge advocate for cutting edge technology - and already actively uses it to enhance performance, both on the course and within the Academy’s coaching studio.

Spring is in the air! Wishing all golfers an amazing, successful year out on the course in 2025🙏❤️ Coming up fast at the end of the month are the new improved “Easter Junior Golf Camps” starting at the beginning of the holidays.
These are going to be one of the best ways juniors can prepare for 2025 season!

Huge thanks for these past couple days for the 1st PGA Q-Series event….the course & greens played amazing, was fun to make a run-up the leaderboard, making a total of 9 birdies in today’s rd.
Was incredibly calm & in the moment every shot, the main learning point was on the penultimate hole, was 220yds par 3, OB all down the left, slight helping wind off the right to a sloping right to left green with a back right hole location. Could have laid up to the front of the green & at worst made bogey but came to win & went for the high fade to attack the hole location.
Unfortunately things didn’t work out this time, but proud that I didn’t back off & committed to the process.
Next event will get rewarded🏊🏋️🧘‍♂️💪🙏🎯⛳️🏆
