βοΈ WELCOME BACK, BEN PURCELL! π΄β«οΈ
Bracknell Town are delighted to announce the return of 22 year old midfielder Ben Purcell, who rejoins The Robins from Hayes & Yeading United.
Ben came through the academy system at Reading, featuring regularly at U21 level, while also earning international recognition with Wales, progressing through the age groups and captaining his country at U19 level. π΄σ §σ ’σ ·σ ¬σ ³σ Ώ
After gaining senior experience with Hartley Wintney and Farnborough, including at National League South level, Ben originally arrived at Bracknell before moving on to Farnham Town.
His time with Farnham proved hugely successful, with Ben involved in back to back promotions, playing his part as the club continued its rapid rise through the non league pyramid.
Most recently with Hayes & Yeading United, Ben now returns to The Robins with considerably more senior experience under his belt and becomes another important addition to Adam Hopkinsβ new look midfield.
Technically strong, composed in possession and with the energy to influence the game at both ends of the pitch, Ben adds further quality and competition to the group.
Unfortunately, Ben is cup tied in both the FA Cup and FA Trophy, meaning Robins supporters will have to wait a little longer to see him back in red and black.
He will be available to make his return when The Robins travel to Wimborne Town on Saturday 12th September. π
