Today is the big day! We are super excited and raring to go. Thank you to all our supporters and wonderful sponsors for making the event possible!

A quick reminder:
- Tickets are advance purchase only, no gate sales
- Parking is pre-booked only
- If you decide to BYO and haven't bought a BYO ticket, you can do so on the gate
- Gazebos and shelters are permitted, we have a special section for these
- Come and have fun!

We are super excited for this summer! We will be back, better than ever, at a new home with our friends, Binfield FC on Saturday 21st June.

The great British weather got the better of us this weekend, unfortunately causing us to cancel the 2024 Party Bye The Pitch event at short notice.

This event is the primary fundraising activity for 1st Binfield Air Scouts and Binfield Cricket Club, providing vital funds to support young people gain life skills through Scouting activities and capacity building at Binfield Cricket Club.

It has taken a small army of dedicated volunteers, working together for over 6 months to plan and put together this community event. Late cancellation has incurred unrecoverable costs for both organisations.

We have received kind offers from the community to donate ticket cost towards fundraising activities. This campaign has been set up in response to that request, as all ticket holders received a full refund.

We want to acknowledge and thank our bands; The Pauly Zarb Band, Studio 2 and Us v Them, our sponsors; Total Tyre Company, Sharp Autos and Warfield MOT & Service Centre, all of the volunteers who have been involved with this event as well as the support we have received from Friends of Binfield School (FOBS), All Saints' with St Marks Churches and the Binfield Parish Council. Finally, we would like to thank the community for the generous offers to support us via donation. It is with regret that we have unfortunately had to cancel this year's Party Bye The Pitch event.

Due to difficult weather conditions including gusty wind, and heavy rain, this has made the event impossible to proceed with safely.

Our paramount concern is the safety and welfare of our guests, and from this perspective, following a risk assessment of the conditions and the cricket ground, we have been forced to cancel today's event.

Ticket holders will receive a separate communication from Ticket Source regarding refunds.

As you may be aware, this event is the main fundraising activity for 1st Binfield Air Scouts and Binfield Cricket Club. Cancellation at this late stage has caused both organisations to incur unrecoverable costs. We hope to run alternate events and fundraising activities throughout the remainder of the year which we hope you will kindly support.

A big thank you to our sponsors and to everyone who purchased tickets for this year's event. Also a big thanks to all the volunteers who helped put the event together and of course, to the musicians. For those who have kindly offered to donate their tickets costs, we will be setting up a charitable giving page in the next week so please keep an eye out for details.
