For the 1st time in the clubs history, the Berkshire Queens will be hosting their first ever club junior girls teams try-outs for the 2026/27 season.

After hosting a number of trainings & building an initial group the Queens are aiming to create a place for girls to play.

Date: July 11th

Venue: Furze Platt Leisure Centre

Time: 12m-2pm
12pm-1pm u10's & u12's
1pm-2pm u14's & u16's

After another hugely successful season for the Berkshire Queens we are opening our doors for try-outs for the 2026/27 season.

This season the Queens will be having both a 1st & Development squad.

Date: July 4th

Venue: Furze Platt Leisure Centre

Time: 11am-12pm

Why join our ladies team?

A great place to start with a wide range of players & experience.

Multiple coaches at the session as well as separated drills depending on level so everyone can have a go.

A fun group with both fun drills & organised plays in order to get the best out of every player.

Opportunities to play between the 2 teams & get more playing time & develop as a player.

A social group with days out to games, event nights out & team events to get to know everyone in the squad & the club.

A competetive team always striving to play hard, have fun & also win a game or 2.

All games to be analysed this season & information to be shared for improvement of play.

1 month until try-outs.

Berkshire Kings & Queens are hosting their annual try-outs for the 2026/27 season. The club is expanding their teams in a lot of age groups.

Next season we will have.

Mixed/boys teams

U10's mixed
U12's 1st & Development team
U14's 1st & Development team
U16's 1st & Development team
U18's
Kings men 1st & Development team

Girls teams

Queens ladies 1st & Development team
Queens Juniors u12
Queens Junior u14
Queens Junior u16

The club are starting their annual summer league this weekend!

Not signed up yet, no problem, members get to play for free, new joiners can join for £20.

Can't make the first one, no problem, you just need to be assigned a team & you're good to go.

Times are:

Furze Platt leisure centre.

U10's/u12's 9am-10am & 10am-11am
U14's & u16's 12pm-1pm & 1pm-2pm

Adult summer leagues to start in July/August.

The committee & coaches attended the South England Basketball awards on Sunday evening.

No wins this year for the club as they were up against some well established & big organisations.

It is nice for the club be nominated & invited considering it has only been established for a few years.

Thank you to all those who nominated for us & thanks to for the event & great evening. Very enjoyable to see the sport growing in the right direction. Very glad to be in such a supportive community.
