Finally the long awaited final game of the season.
KNICKS vs TORNADOES at Bracknell Sports Centre.
Oh! What a matchup? What a rivalry!
Just watching them gets me excited! And an interesting game to look forward to.
Both team started with their best,
Tight defence on both ends and both of them struggle to finish.
Tornadoes led 17-14 at the end of first quarter.
The second quarter, when the Knicks starts to take the lead.
Still both team with their best effort and the determination to win in the eye of every single player.
At Half Knicks lead 34-27
Tornadoes had a bad start the second half and The Knicks took this opportunity to take over the game at third quarter. The tornadoes struggled both on offence and defence. Tornadoes were totally blow away by the end of the quarter.
They led 70-38
The game had already been decided.
The more they score more confidence grew, leaving the opponent devastated.
And as expected the Knicks won with Final score 92-57
A BIG CONGRATULATIONS to KNICKS ! The champions of the first BUCKS league!
We thank Knicks, Tornadoes and Bucks for participating in the league.

At last we now have come to the end of the Bucks league season 2014.

Today, we have the finals of the bucks league where the Undefeated Sandhurst Knicks will be playing against the Sandhurst Tornadoz.

Bucks @ Tornadoes reported by Roshan rai

Both team fired up and ready to win a place in the league’s final.
It seemed like the bucks didn’t play as they would normally, a lot of missed attempts,
They showed no team-work and were not communicating well at all. The tornadoes took the advantage and they took the lead from the very beginning of the game.
Tornadoes were up 29-24 at the half-time.
Remarkably Helly Gurung (the monster) stuck around a bit, scoring 7 points in the third quarter alone and made the Bucks to hang around a little bit more.
As The Bucks were getting better, the Tornadoes worked as a team and executed plays perfectly.
The Tornadoes were still in the lead at 44-41 at the end of third quarter.
Resham Malla from Tornadoes, He was outstanding, seemed like the guy never missed from the paint and from range. What a show he had put on the night!
Another outstanding player from Bucks, Dipesh Rai
What an amazing effort, mind-set and his urgency for victory also kept the Bucks a hope for victory, scored 9 points in the last quarter only,
Also led the scoreboard with 24 points – highest score by a player in the game,
But teamwork was needed for the win which the Tornadoes had worked on the past week after their game against the Knicks.
Bad night for Bucks, they just couldn’t get the chemistry right between them
And the Tornadoes took the right advantage and swooped away the home victory
They Proceed to the Final against the Knicks.
Final Score 65 – 58

We are now getting towards the end of the Bucks League.

Today the Tornadoes are coming to the Bucks home for the semi-final game of the 1st Bucks League season 2014. The bucks and the tornadoes both have 1W each, today's game will be the deciding game who will go towards the finals.

Who will get the Win and get to the finals to play against the undefeated Kincks next week Sunday 16/11/2014.

As we can expect, both teams will not back down today, they are both here to just win...

Tornadoes @ Bucks

As expected, heated rivalry between these two teams.

1st Quarter
Knicks outs cored the Tornadoes 21 - 8.
Everyone contributed, the ball movement was great, that's how they got the point,

2nd Quarter
Nabin Rai, favourite, just burned the floor. I mean literally he was on fire, that boy! Scored 11 points just in the 2nd quarter.
Not to forget Kailash Gurung also from the Tornadoes stepped up his game, 3 out of 3 from range and 1 out of 1 behind the arch.
Doesn't mean Knicks did not do well, they also played great but these two guys stole the show.
that was some exciting basketball from those two players

Knicks were still leading the scoreboard at half-time with 37 - 32

Similar performance by Nabin Rai scored another 11 points out of total 12 points for the Tornadoes in the quarter. Knicks also had scored 12 points in the quarter and they looked like they were in trouble.
End of third quarter, Knicks were still in the lead 49-44

We just can't get enough of Nabin can't we, he was fired up, scored 13 points in the last quarter,
Career high in a quarter and also the highest points in a quarter in the Bucks League.
Even though all the effort by the tornadoes, Knicks, they were still not giving up, everyone contributed, great team-work, communication, the effort was a 100%
& I say that's how they got the Win.
Final Score 64 -62
Knicks moves up to the league Finals.

Next game Bucks at Tornadoes 9th November.

BUCKS @ TORNADOES

1st QUARTER
What a wonderful performance by Nabin Rai (PG of Sandhurst Tornadoes), he scored 10 points of the total 16 points alone in the first quarter.
game Tied at 16-16

Tornadoes led the score board by 5 points at half-time as they had excellent teamwork, great communication in and out of the court.
Score 31-26 at Half-Time.

Second half, Bucks stepped in with a different mind-set, played with all their mitts and finally out scored the Tornadoes 12-5 and leading the scoreboard at 38-36 at the end of the quarter.

Late until the end, Shockingly fantastic effort to carry the team to Victory by Nabin Rai but unfortunately, Bucks already had the upper hand control of the game.
The final score 47 - 44

Here's the update for next game of Bucks league. ...

The Sandhurst Tornadoz are travelling to Bracknell this Sunday. Their opponent will be the Bracknell bucks who haven't won any game in this league. Will the Bucks use their home court advantage to get their first win in this league, or will the Tornadoz take their second win against the Bucks.

The Sandhurst Knicks are playing against the Sandhurst Tornadoz (home) in the Bucks league today.

They are playing against each other for the second time, the first of which the Knicks took the lead. Today, the Tornadoz are not backing down and let the Knicks win them for the second time.

Can Knicks still take the lead back to 2 W against Tornadoz??
