We've been looking forward to today as two of our heavy hitters grade for their 1st degree blackbelts. Andrew Broadley and Alex K Atkins certainly didn't disappoint, delivering a fantastic grading full of fire, sweat, great techniques and one bloody nose. Congratulations to you both!

Fantastic Xmas class to finish off 2025, lots of festive outfits and the return of the ever popular "wrap an instructor" game. Black Belt Academy and colour belt gradings tomorrow then we are done for year!

What an awesome day yesterday! It was a pleasure to spend the morning grading Chloe Darby for her blackbelt, it was a fantastic grading and Chloe almost knocked us off our chairs with one of the most technically perfect swing kicks we've ever seen in a grading! Chloe has been part of our classes since she was a new born baby, hanging out in the back of the class and watching her brother train so we were very proud to present her with her new belt. To top the day off it was followed by two awesome, high energy colour belt/tag gradings. Well done everyone!

It was a privilege to present Yasmin and Riley with their 1st Dan Blackbelts today at the end of a gruelling grading. These two are the future instructors of the school and epitomise why we do what we do. It's been a pleasure to watch them grow and develop since joining, becoming two of the most technically gifted students in the school and continuing to grow in confidence.

It was clear early on that they both had a passion for sharing their knowledge with younger students and quickly became members of the leadership team. Classes could not run smoothly without them and they are great role models for other students. Their high energy, enthusiasm and work ethic were on full display today and their Blackbelts are well earned.

Congratulations you two, we're very proud of you!

A very hot and humid morning today but everyone brought their A-game to the Combatives and Black Belt Academy classes as well as a fantastic colour belt grading. Well done everyone, it wasn't easy in todays heat!

What a fantastic first grading day of the year! Firstly, we were very proud to see these two gents smash their gruelling 3 hour black belt gradings to receive their new belts.

Then we finished off with a small but high energy colour belt grading. Well done everyone!
