The question is ....why?

Understanding the why behind your goal can help you stay focussed.
If the outcome of losing weight is simply to see the number on the scales drop its not a sustainable goal, however if it means so much more... physically, mentally, socially and emotionally it can be a lifestyle decision.
Before you embark on your fitness journey or as you continue, ask yourself 5 whys?
These are mine:
Outcome: gain 6lbs of lean muscle, lose 6lbs of fat
WHY?
To shape and tone my body so I look awesome in summer
WHY?
So, I can wear shorts, spaghetti straps anything I like with confidence
WHY?
To feel better physically and mentally
WHY?
Makes me happy, gives me confidence in all areas of my life
WHY?
So, I appreciate my body, my life and strive for success in everything I do
