Always love your Goalkeeper

They have the hardest job on the whole team.

If the Team are doing well - they can feel like a million miles away down the pitch, in the meantime the goalie stands still getting cold and feeling lonely.

Likewise, the goalie is the one who feels all the pressure if a goal is conceded.

So go on show your Goalkeeper some appreciation! We love ours at FGK

Remember you are never to blame, you play as a Team. If a goal is conceded that is due to the efforts of every squad member. It will never lie on the shoulders of one player - not on our Team anyway....... Love your Team, Love your Club and Love your Football

How far this lad has come in a short space of time is staggering! Lucas has become much more confident with diving and he is no longer using his other hand! Which will help cover more of the goal with each save! Amazing work mate!!

Done a lot of work with young GK’s around getting up after the first save for rebounds. THIS is why!

GK’s need to do as much work with their feet in the modern game as outfield players. As well as working in their handling. It’s tough my people but absolutely worth it!!

Welcome to FootyGK

If your child has a love for Goalkeeping and would like to develop their skills then we would love to help with that.

With 30+ years experience of goalkeeping and a love for coaching we want to support young, aspiring GK's to grow in confidence and ability in any areas they wish.

STARTS Tuesday 14th March 2023!!!

Tuesdays 5:30-6:30-ages 5-11 (primary school age)
Thursdays 5:30-6:30 ages 11-16 (secondary school age)
