Hello, this is just a post to share some news.
In April i will be running the London Marathon for A big challenge but one i am ready for, and one in which i carry immense pride due to how close this charity is to home.
I would really appreciate it if you could share this post. The just giving link is in my bio, and here is the story from there-
Hi, I’m Lewis, and in 2026 I’ll be running the London Marathon in support of Footprints 💙
I’m running for this charity for a deeply personal reason. Before I was born, my mum lost twins. It’s a loss that stayed with her, and with our family, in ways that are hard to put into words. Baby loss is something so many families experience quietly, often without the support or understanding they deserve. Footprints provides that vital care, compassion, and reassurance to families during one of the most painful times of their lives — reminding them that they are not alone.
My mum and I are incredibly close. She has always been there for me, supporting me through every stage of my life, often putting others before herself. Her strength, love, and resilience inspire me every single day. Running this marathon is my way of honouring her, remembering the twins she never got to watch grow up, and supporting families who are going through similar heartbreak.
Over the past few years, I’ve dedicated a lot of time to improving my own health and fitness. Taking on the London Marathon feels like the biggest challenge I’ve ever set myself — both physically and mentally. But knowing that every mile I run can help raise awareness and funds for such an important cause gives this challenge a much deeper meaning.
If you’re able to donate, no matter how big or small, you’ll be helping Footprints continue their incredible work and support families when they need it most. Thank you so much for taking the time to read my story and for supporting me on this journey ❤️
I would really appreciate any support. Donation link is in my bio
