It was great to see so many people turn out today on a very hot day to try out Bowls. Also a fantastic turn out from our members to support our Open Day, it was hot and tiring but they did it all with smiles, making people feel welcome and able to enjoy themselves.
Also fab to see some children come along and show an interest in our Junior Academy.

Come along to Brackley & District Bowling Club on Sunday 24 May between 2pm and 5pm and try Bowls for free.

We are a friendly club with an active Social Side along side the bowls.

Bring the family, all welcome, we have a Junior and Adult Section.
Plenty of seating areas.

Tea, Coffee, Biscuits provided and our Honesty Bar will be open.

Flat shoes are kinder to our Bowling Green!

The weather is set to be hot and sunny. We have lots of shady areas to sit but remember your hats, sun glasses, sun protection cream and water. 🧢🕶️🧴💧

First Competitive Match for our Junior Academy.

A fantastic day on Saturday for the junior section at Brackley & District Bowling Club as we welcomed the Banbury juniors for our very first game against another club 🎉

All of the juniors played brilliantly and did the club proud with their enthusiasm, teamwork and sportsmanship. It was also wonderful to see so many supporters there cheering them on, along with several club members who came along to encourage the next generation of bowlers.

A great experience for everyone involved and so positive to see young people taking up and enjoying the sport. Well done to all of our juniors 👏💚

Sometimes it’s the not so obvious that makes a difference!

There are many people who work really hard to keep our club looking s***k and span, today Nigel and Bob were tackling the weeds in the paved walking areas around the green. A back breaking task which they’ve had to concede with just the two of them they will need to do over a few weeks! Huge thanks to them and all the other unseen members who help out with so many jobs around the club.
Volunteers always welcome!

It was great to see so many members at the Presentation and Summer Sign Up Evening. It’s great to see the club growing and thriving.

Congratulations to the Winners and Runners Up in all the Adult Indoor Competitions who received their trophies last night.

Very Special Congrats to our Junior Bowlers who were awarded their Club caps by our President and received their trophies for all their achievements during their coaching and mentored league competition. They are all ready for their first friendly against another club and we wish them all good luck.

We look forward to getting on the Green and starting our Summer Season!
