Great to see so many members, friends and family at the Sign Up and Presentation Evening. Huge congratulations to all our Club Competition winners and runners up.

We were delighted to present our first ever Junior Club Singles Trophy ( Owen) and to remember Ken Court with the presentation of the Ken Court Trophy to the winner of the Mens 2 Wood Singles ( Bob ).

🌟 Brackley Juniors’ First Away Game! 🌟

What a fantastic first away game for our Brackley Juniors at Banbury Central! 🎉

Five of our young bowlers represented Brackley, doing the club incredibly proud with fantastic etiquette, great sportsmanship, and plenty of bowling skill and prowess on show. 👏🎯

They even had the opportunity to play against juniors who represented at Leamington National Bowls this year — a brilliant experience for them!

It’s fantastic to see these young players growing in confidence, developing their skills and, most importantly, building a real passion for our sport. 💚

The future of Brackley Bowls is looking very bright! 🌟

Yesterday was a very special day for our club. We celebrated the life of a very significant and influential former, member, President, Trustee of the club, ( amongst many other roles!). Ken Court.

On a very hot afternoon members of Brackley, players from the former IMPS and a team from Northampton County, gathered to play bowls at the Ken Court Memorial Match.

We were delighted to welcome Ken’s immediate family to join us, his daughter Jackie a member at Brackley played in the game and her sister Sarah accompanied by her husband John joined us as very special guests.

It was a well deserved tribute to Ken.

On Sunday 28 June Brackley and District Bowls Club were delighted to welcome representatives from local organisations and the Deputy Mayor Kate Nash and her consort Justin to officially open the new car parking areas which were funded by a grant from HS2. It was a great day which paid reference to the clubs history, described its current situation and desire to encourage more community interaction and looked forward to its future plans. It was a fabulous afternoon of celebration, recognition and enthusiasm for the future.

It was great to see so many people turn out today on a very hot day to try out Bowls. Also a fantastic turn out from our members to support our Open Day, it was hot and tiring but they did it all with smiles, making people feel welcome and able to enjoy themselves.
Also fab to see some children come along and show an interest in our Junior Academy.
