If you’re in your 40s, 50s or 60+, this is exactly why strength training matters.

Strength Training Could Help You Live Longer 💪

A major study following more than 147,000 people for up to 30 years found that:

✅ Just 90 minutes to 2 hours of strength training per week can reduce the risk of early death.

✅ Regular strength training is linked to a 13% lower risk of death from any cause.

✅ It can reduce the risk of death from heart disease and stroke by 19%.

✅ It is associated with a 27% lower risk of death from neurological diseases.

✅ The sweet spot appears to be around two 45-minute strength sessions per week.

At our gym, around 90% of our members are aged between 40 and 60, and we see these benefits every day through improved strength, mobility, confidence and quality of life.

The effects of ageing on muscle mass and strength begin as early as our 30s, which is why consistent strength training becomes one of the most important investments we can make in our long-term health. The good news? It’s never too late to start seeing the benefits.

If you’d like to get stronger, healthier and invest in your future, send us a message and find out how we can help.
