With a history spanning over 140 years, Bourton and Frankton Football and Cricket Club are based in the village of Bourton-on-Dunsmore near Rugby (the adjoining village of Frankton is 1/2 mile away). We are one of the few remaining village clubs in existence in the local area and continue to build on its presence in the local surrounding community and continued development on and off-the-field. We
currently run one football team who play in the Coventry Alliance Football League on Saturday afternoons and train weekly at our ground on a Tuesday evening under our own floodlights. Our ground continues to be recognised as one of the best playing surfaces in the region, with changing facilities and showers also available for all players. Our cricket club has a history dating back to at least the late 1800s. We are one of the few village clubs which still only play Sunday friendly fixtures (i.e. no league cricket) against other local village clubs and teams, some of whom we have had the pleasure of playing against for over 60 years. Both sections of our club have an excellent social scene off-the-field with a variety of social and fundraising events held during the course of the year.
