Food cravings aren’t always about willpower, they can be linked to habits, restriction, hunger, emotions or routine. By understanding what’s triggering your cravings, you can make more intentional choices without labelling foods as “good” or “bad”.

If you know what you should be doing but struggle to stay consistent, DM me “CRAVINGS” and let’s chat about 1:1 coaching 💕

The thing I’ve done to lose nearly a stone in 3 months as a short girly… (well, 40 year old 😂)

PS… it’s something I NEVER thought I’d do 👀

I STOPPED EATING BREAKFAST.

Yep. Me. A lifelong breakfast lover 😂

For the last few months I’ve been experimenting with intermittent fasting and most days I don’t eat my first meal until around 12pm - 1pm

And I’ve been SO surprised by how much I’ve enjoyed it.

But before anyone thinks intermittent fasting is some magic fat loss tool… it isn’t 🙅🏼‍♀️

I’ve lost body fat because I’ve been in a calorie deficit.

Intermittent fasting has simply made that deficit MUCH easier for me.

As a short woman, I don’t have a massive calorie budget 😂 and I’ve realised I’d much rather have two decent sized meals, plus snacks/treats later in the day, than spread my calories across three meals.

I train early, have my coffee and water, get on with my morning and genuinely haven’t struggled with hunger.

BUT… this is what works FOR ME.

I have clients who could never do this. Skipping breakfast leaves them starving, low on energy and reaching for everything by mid-afternoon. For them, eating breakfast actually makes sticking to their calories easier.

And THAT is the point of this post ❤️

Fat loss is NOT one size fits all.

There’s no perfect meal timing, number of meals or magical fat loss hack.

It’s about finding the way of eating that helps YOU consistently stay in a calorie deficit without feeling like you’re constantly dieting.

For a girl who thought she could never skip breakfast, this little experiment has definitely paid off 🙌🏼

Have you tried intermittent fasting? Did you love it… or were you ready to eat your own arm by 10am? 😂👇🏼

Tracking your food can feel repetitive.

Weighing pasta? Logging that handful of crisps? Remembering to scan your yoghurt? Yep… it can feel a bit tedious.

But do you know what else gets pretty tedious?

❌ Starting every Monday saying “this week will be different.”
❌ Feeling frustrated that nothing seems to change.
❌ Watching another summer go by wishing you felt more confident.

The truth is, every goal comes with things you won’t love doing.

The difference is choosing the version that actually gets you closer to where you want to be.

I’m not saying you need to track forever. Most of my clients don’t. But for a season, it can teach you so much about portions, habits and where those sneaky calories are creeping in.

Sometimes a little short-term effort creates long-term freedom.

If you’re struggling to stay consistent over the summer and want daily accountability, support and someone in your corner to help you navigate holidays, BBQs, meals out and all the real-life stuff, my Summer Survival Coaching is exactly for that. ☀️💪 Send me a message and I’ll tell you all about it.

Already worrying the summer holidays are going to ruin your fat loss progress? ☀️

Every year I hear the same thing…

“I’ll start again in September.”

But what if this was the year you didn’t have to?

I’ve created Summer Survival Coaching for busy mums who want to enjoy BBQs, holidays, days out and ice creams without undoing all their hard work.

For 6 weeks you’ll have me in your corner with:
✨ Daily WhatsApp accountability (Mon–Sat)
✨ Personal feedback and support
✨ Help navigating real life, not avoiding it
✨ A coach who genuinely gets busy mum life

The goal isn’t perfection.

It’s arriving in September feeling proud of yourself instead of starting from scratch.

Investment: £325 for the full 6 weeks (less than £5.50 a day).

✨ Limited spaces available.

DM me the word SUMMER if you’d like one of them. 💗

Mum tax… it’s a real thing. 😂

One chicken nugget while making dinner.
A couple of crisps from the packet.
The crusts from a sandwich.
Half a biscuit that “wasn’t wanted.”
A spoonful of pasta to “check it’s cooked.”
The last few spoonfuls of yoghurt so it doesn’t go to waste.

It all feels like nothing in the moment… because it usually is.

But here’s the thing. Those little bites, licks and tastes can easily add up over the course of a day, especially if you’re trying to lose weight and you’re left wondering why you’re not seeing the progress you expected.

This isn’t about never eating your kids’ leftovers (because let’s be honest… who’s making a separate plate for one fish finger? 🤣).

It’s just about being aware.

If you’re tracking your food, those little extras count too. And if you’re not tracking, simply noticing how often you do it can be a real eye-opener.

Fat loss isn’t usually being sabotaged by one takeaway or one BBQ… it’s more often the hundreds of tiny, forgettable decisions we don’t even realise we’re making.

Awareness beats perfection every single time.

Now please tell me I’m not the only one… 😂

What’s your biggest “mum tax” habit? Nuggets? Crisps? Toast crusts? Leftover pasta?

Walk into any health shop or spend five minutes on social media and you’ll be convinced that the next supplement is the missing piece to your fat loss success.

Magnesium for sleep.
Creatine for strength.
Protein for recovery.
Berberine for blood sugar.
Collagen for skin and joints.

Can they be helpful? Absolutely.

But here’s the part that many people don’t want to hear…

💊 Supplements are designed to supplement a healthy lifestyle, not replace one.

If your meals are all over the place, binging, then restricting, emotionally eating all the time, overeating in the evenings, or starting a new diet every Monday, no supplement is going to fix that.

The biggest results I’ve seen in my clients haven’t come from expensive powders or pills.

They’ve come from:
✔️ Eating balanced meals consistently.
✔️ Moving their body regularly.
✔️ Prioritising sleep.
✔️ Drinking enough water.
✔️ Having accountability to keep going when motivation disappears.

Master the basics first. They’re not glamorous, but they work.

And if you want to be feeling stronger, healthier and more confident by the time your summer holiday arrives, I’d love to help.

I have a limited number of 1:1 coaching spaces available where we’ll build habits that fit your life, ditch the all-or-nothing mindset, and create results that actually last.

📩 Send me SUMMER in a DM and let’s chat about whether coaching is the right fit for you.
