We’ve been at the UK World Team Backyard Ultra Championship today.

Race directors from across the UK have come together to support Rasselbock Running who are putting on the event.

It’s been a great day catching up with Darren@3WordRuns Backyard Ultra UK Running & Mindset Coach | Lizzie and meeting new race directors. The Eightmile Timing tent even made it on to the live stream!

We’ll be following along over the next few days as the best of the best runners in the UK backyard ultra scene compete for team UK against 68 other countries.

This is the first Dorset page of the Domesday Book, completed in 1086 including Bere Regis and the Charborough estate.

On 29 November 2026 10:00am, the Eightmile Doomsday Run comes to this historic landscape, taking runners through Bere Wood and the Charborough Estate.

The Domesday survey recorded settlements, households, land and woodland here, every mile follows ground with an extraordinary documented past.

Save the date and tag the person you want beside you on the start line. Choose either 10k, 21k, or relay.

2026 was incredible weather with great times with Jack Galloway and Anne-Marie Bayliss finishing first place.

As a Dorest company it was epic to support a local club, especially a race in the highly popular

🏃‍♂️🏃‍♀️ Only a few weeks now until Bournemouth’s Town to Trail, 8 mile trail run!

Did you know you can leave Bournemouth’s bustling town centre and, within minutes, be running through beautiful gardens, woodland trails and green spaces?

On Sunday 23 August 4pm, Bournemouth Town to Trail will bring together local businesses, community running groups and volunteers to introduce more people to trail running and celebrate the incredible outdoor spaces right on our doorstep.

Whether you’re an experienced runner or trying trail running for the first time, this beginner-friendly 8-mile trail run is designed to be welcoming, inclusive and fun.

📍 Race HQ: Patch at Bobby’s & Co
🏁 Start: The Pagoda, Bournemouth Gardens
🕓 4:00pm (Registration from 2:00pm)

✅ Fully waymarked route
💧 Mid-route aid station hosted by The Club at Meyrick Park
