The nightlife and the illuminations in Sevilla after dark are wonderful. Despite thousands of people being about and parking absolutely horrendous, walking is just great. Nobody seemed to mind we were Nordic walking and we got loads of smiles and the usual curiosity. After I did a bit of shopping for two more amazing T shirts in Pampling and Real Betis and Spanish National shirts in El Cortes de Ingles, we headed for the river and a walk along the embankment. There were hundreds of youngsters, all having a good time talking, drinking, playing music and everyone was happy. No raised voices in anger, nobody was drunk, everyone was good-natured. However, they did leave quite a lot of rubbish. No difference there from UK. A wonderful evening that ended at Plaza de Espana, beautifully lit. Heading back to the car we passed Plaza del Torres and a pharmacy showing the time and the temperature, 18 degrees. Lovely weather.

Luis' long time friend, Andres, came to Sevilla to see his daughter who is studying to be a translator at the University. We had a lovely breakfast and then returned to Gines via Barrio de La Remidios, with its highrise flats. Through Camas, past the shop which Luis designed the advertising, BabyDear and Castilleja to have lunch in Gines. The Bar had great pics of guitar greats by a local artist and the day ended with a magnificent sunset.

A bit of a lazy day, a meeting with Luis' friend, Angel, to clarify what Luis needs to do to set up Nordic walking in Sevilla. Manu was having migas prepared, so we enjoyed that. Luis took Angel for a nordic walk, to show him what it was all about. We headed back via some of the sites we have walked in recent days, such as the Station and the surrounding streets. Some amusing, like the snail café but mostly architectural and historic features.
