ympic Association (BOA), the European Taekwondo (ETU) and recognised by UK Sport, the government agency for High Performance Sport as well as Sport England, as the National Governing Body for WTF Taekwondo in the United Kingdom. British Taekwondo is responsible for all aspects of WTF/Olympic style taekwondo in the UK. This includes everything that is encompassed and practised through the Martial Art of Taekwondo, as well as selecting Great Britain National Teams to compete at the European and World Championships and of course the Olympic Games. We provide coaching for ages from 4yrs to adults. Our teaching ethos for children focuses very much on motor and listening skills with targeted coaching to develop focus, memory, team work, discipline, self-control, balance and coordination. Our junior and adult training programme will cover physical fitness, awareness, self-discipline, and self-confidence. KMA Sports Academy have clubs in Wi******er and Eastleigh and Bournemouth with qualified instructors who have been DBS (CRB) checked. There are regular competitions especially for the novice competitor who wishes to develop their competitive skills in sparring (Kyorugi) and patterns (Poomsae) this is an ideal platform for the student who then wishes to advance their skills at National and international events which there are plenty.
