These “iF yOuR gYm dOeSn’T hAvE oNe oF tHeSe…” videos are some of the easiest content to farm on social media. Usually it’s one unqualified bloke with a decent physique claiming one attachment, one exercise variation, or one “secret” changed everything for them… then 50 other charlatans copy the same format because outrage + insecurity = views.

“Don’t do these, do THESE.”
“If your gym doesn’t have this they don’t care about your gains.”

Absolute nonsense.

Most of the greatest physiques in bodybuilding history were built before half this equipment even existed. Effort, consistency, progressive overload, nutrition, recovery — not magic handles.

Challenge what you see online.

Look at their qualifications.
If there aren’t any listed, ask yourself why you’re taking training advice from them in the first place.

Taking PEDs and stepping on stage doesn’t count as a fitness qualification.

Sitting in the car after my BodyPump Heavy class—this new Les Mills program is a total game-changer! Each set is a focused 8 reps, and by adding weight earlier in the sequence, you shift those weights over time. After a few weeks, your set two weight becomes your new baseline, and that’s how you drive real progressive overload.

Is this mistake killing your lat gains? 👀

Keeping your elbows pinned straight down? That could be limiting your lat activation.
Let them travel slightly forward, set your chest, then drive down and in to fully shorten the lats. Stay controlled on the way back and own the stretch. 💪🔥”
