Littledown 5 Littledown 5. A 5 mile road race and part of the Dorset Road Race League. Each year Littledown Harriers organise the Littledown 5.

It is a 5 mile road race and normally a race in the Dorset Road Race League DRRL. Venue: Littledown Centre (next to the cricket pavilion) Chaseside, off Castle Lane, Bournemouth, BH7 7DX

THE COURSE

All road or hard path, starts at Littledown Centre and passes Fitness First Stadium in King’s Park. The finish is located at the Littledown Centre. Not that the old course was hilly, but the new one has less climbs

Update Wednesday 15th April 2020

We have taken the very difficult decision to cancel the Littledown 5 race for 2020 in light of the current situation with COVID-19.

We are sorry for any inconvenience this may cause and we hope to see everyone in September 2021 instead.

We’re all set for tomorrow! The Littledown Centre opens at 7:30am, race collection is from 9am and the race starts at 10:30am.

The cafe is open from 9am so if you have any supporters with you they can grab a drink or some breakfast before the race starts.

The bar opens at 12 noon... 😉

If you’re joining us on Sunday please remember to read the runner information sheet.
☀️It is forecast to be a warm one, so please remember hats and suncream etc and consider carrying water with you. There are no water stations on the course, but plenty of water at the finish line!💧

Number collection opens at 9am on Sunday and will be located in studio 4, which is inside the main entrance of the Littledown Centre behind reception 🙂
