Massive shoutout to Talisa for absolutely smashing her Oakhaven 26-mile charity walk 👏❤️
Not only did she complete it, but she shaved over an HOUR off her previous time ⏱️💥
What makes this even more impressive is that just a couple of months ago, Talisa was struggling badly with knee pain — to the point where she had to cut some walks short because the pain became too much. But she stayed consistent, trusted the process, and kept showing up 💪
Together we focused on rebuilding strength, stability, and resilience so she could get back to doing what she loves without (knee) drama 🙌
After assessing her movement, I found a lot of the issue was linked to weakness and instability around the hips, especially through internal/external rotation and hip flexion on her left side. So we put together a rehab plan focused on:
✅ Hip strength & stability
✅ Knee control & resilience
✅ Improving alignment & movement mechanics
✅ Strengthening the muscles around the knee
We worked through progressions together 1-1 in the gym, alongside a structured plan for her own training 🏋️♀️
The result? A pain-free event, no knee straps needed, and an incredible performance from start to finish 🚀👏
