Always a great paddle and a fun collaboration. Stunning scenery at this iconic location - one of the paddles which is on everyone’s bucket list. Stay and play along the coastline afterwards.

Gentle return to some proper training today back in my favourite place, Poole Harbour, before the wind picked up too much. One month to prepare for the race ……… but the big question is ‘WHICH RACE?’ SUP the Creek or GBSUP National Series at Ramsgate which are both the same weekend. Can’t decide!!! Aaaargh!

Absolutely brilliant afternoon at the Hamble Valley Regatta with my friends from Southampton SUP Club. A serious race to start then some ‘silly’ fun races in pairs. Full of laughter and camaraderie along with a bit of ‘friendly’ competition on the water - think the rule book was torn up sometimes 🤣.
1st in Blindfold race with Kiran (Kiran was blindfolded and having to follow my directing)
2nd in Egg and Spoon with Kiran (Kiran standing with the egg and spoon, me kneeling to paddle trying to avoid hitting him when changing sides)
4th in prone race with Jon. (me at the back getting soaking wet from Jon’s enthusiastic paddling up front - note to self, go in front next time and also keep clear of Kirsty McSeveney 😂)
Highly recommend this event to everyone for next year

One year ago today Bev marked her birthday with her first SUP lesson and has never looked back.
I’ve had the privilege of watching the healing power of ‘Blue Therapy’ first hand as this special SUP journey has helped Bev so much with the loss of her husband.

On her Starboard Airline ‘Starkie’ you’ll start to see her take part in more races as well as being such a great volunteer.

From beginner to ‘Paddler of the Day’ at Henley Summer Showdown this weekend - but this journey continues to be so much more than that.
Thank you to everyone who has joined Bev on it including Scotty and Michaela at GBSUP National Series Nick at Gowiththeflo Mark Short SUP English Riviera Festival and all her Supscene365 friends and the wider SUP community.

We paddled around Brownsea today to celebrate.
