U15s 💙

Our U15s started the season well considering we haven’t been able to have a single pre season game.

The boys took a while to get going but when they did they really turned it on moving the ball well and controlling the game.

🔵⚪ Boston Town U9 vs Nettleham U9 ⚪🔵
Today we welcomed Nettleham U9 to our home ground for what turned out to be a very fast-paced and competitive game against a great opposition.
There was some fantastic football on display from both sides, with plenty of energy, determination and teamwork throughout. Our boys did what they do best, moving the ball around with some great passing and creating chances — and it certainly paid off.
A brilliant game of football today, with great teamwork from both sides and plenty for everyone to be proud of. Every single one of our boys played their part and gave everything, putting in a very impressive team performance. 💙🤍

⚽️ What a way to start the season! ⚽️The girls faced a very strong Louth side in their first game, while also taking on the challenge of a new formation. From the first whistle to the last, they showed incredible effort, determination and team spirit! 💪💙There were cracking goals, brilliant tackles and fantastic defensive work from everyone. The girls battled for every ball and gave it everything! 🤍⚽️

U11s 💙

Today our lads playing there first game of the season for our new Boston Town team, travelled to Glinton for a well matched cup game.
A slow start and some sloppy defending saw Glinton take the lead early on with a nice finish low past Will. But our lads shook that setback off and played some lovely football showcasing the passing style we work on in training every week.
With Arlo and Leo controlling the midfield we soon created chances and a couple of wicked crosses from Alfie saw Issac and Nojus go closest.
The deserved equaliser came just before half time when an Alfie corner was forced in after good work from Nojus pressuring the Glinton keeper.
HT 1-1.
The second half started off with Glinton starting the fastest and taking the lead with defensive mix up gifting them a goal.
From then on Glinton’s long ball tactics and some very questionable refereeing were to be our undoing.
FT 1-4
The result won’t take away a good performance from the lads, Benjamin solid at the back, Issac and Alfie causing chaos on the wings, Leo and Arlo linking well in the middle, James and Nojus working tirelessly up front, Laurynas energy and workrate impressing, Jacob coming back from a few weeks out will only get better and our superstar keeper Will with some fine saves and great distribution.
Player of the match was Arlo with a commanding display in centre midfield.
Special mention goes to Leo, a strong performance with a nasty blister on his heal just shows how strong his character is!
