Can we please normalise simple exercises still being effective 👏

Not every workout needs to be complicated, fast-paced, or an advanced movement you found in TikTok..

Some of the most effective Pilates exercises are actually the most simple, because they require control, precision, stability, breath work, and true core engagement.

Going back to basics doesn’t mean you’re regressing… usually, it means you’re building strength properly 💪🏻

Mastering your alignment, improving your form, and learning how to engage the correct muscles will always be more valuable than rushing into harder variations 🙌🏻

Simple doesn’t mean easy… and your shaking core will happily confirm that 🫣😅

Watch me improve your tabletop form with one simple tweak ✨

A common mistake I see?
Bringing the knees too close into the chest and lifting the feet too high.

Instead:
✔️ Stack your knees directly over your hips
✔️ Keep your shins parallel to the ceiling
✔️ Find your imprint position before moving

This small adjustment helps switch on the deep core properly instead of gripping through the hip flexors…
