A great day at National Sheep Association Sheep event yesterday 🐑

James & Jane have had a great day sheepdog demonstrating at the National Sheep Association Sheep event with Hollie & Angie.

This was Angie’s first ever outing, being in the very early stages of her training… very nerve wracking for James! But it was great to be able to demonstrate the steps needed when starting a young dog.

Thanks for all of the questions - great to meet so many fellow farmers and people passionate about the industry 🐑

Dave is home bred and out of Hollie (current English National Brace Champion) and is fully trained on voice & whistle commands. He is calm, steady with a good pace and balance. He is easy to stop and recall. He has a kind temperant and no tension. He would suit farm work or someone interested in starting to trial.

A successful weekend at the English Nursery Final well done to all competitors 🐑🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿

James & Sally are on the team selected to represent England at the Four Nations Final!

Today they have competed at the English Nursery Final where the top 45 nursery dogs compete, with the top 10 going through to represent England.

Congratulations to all competitors, a challenging course and a huge achievement to be competing at this level. Well done to Ricky Hutchinson & Spenhead Spot for winning!

A few handlers who have come to James for guidance were competing today which always makes him very proud.

Thank you to the ENF committee who always do a brilliant job of putting on such a well organised trial.

Interclub Nursery Competition 🏆

A very successful day for James & Jane with Sally, Rita & Brad today!

James & Sally won the nursery with 96/100 points and Jane was in the winning team with Rita for the Novice and Brad for the Nursery.

That’s the 25/26 Nursery season complete! James is looking forward to the English Nursery Final next weekend with Sally 🐕
