Great attendance from BSC at the British Int 420 Class National Championships last weekend - and it was a pretty windy one! 💨⛵️

Huge congratulations to our sailors on some fantastic results:

🏆 Zac - 6th overall & a race bullet
🏆 India - 7th overall, Female National Champion & a race bullet 🥇
🏆 Pippa - 12th overall, 2nd Female & 2nd U17, plus a race bullet
👏 Ed - 16th overall
👏 Tom - 18th overall

Unfortunately the weather gods have not been on our side again this year and the race management team have made the decision to cancel tomorrow’s regatta due to the weather conditions 💨

It’s disappointing but there are still opportunities for you to (hopefully 🤞🏻) get out racing this weekend:

Sunday 30th: represent BSC at the Itchenor SC regatta - visit their website for details.

Monday 31st: BSC pursuit race - 1.30pm
- 90minute race with every boat sailing the same course which great for some friendly family competition 😉
- Briefing at 12.15pm but please read the briefing notes on the website before.
- Pre-entry is essential, please visit our website to enter.

Then join us for a bbq on the terrace in aid of Breast Cancer Now - book online so we can know numbers.

Come along and enjoy a very special BBQ at BSC on Bank Holiday Monday in aid of Breast Cancer Now 🩷

All members and their guests are welcome, even if you are not participating in the pursuit race. All profits will be donated to Breast Cancer Now, please pre-book to help with numbers.

Tickets for a raffle, with lots of exciting prizes, available on the day. Raffle draw at 17:00.

Open racing for non foiling dinghies and Itchenor SC keelboat fleets. The entry fees are low and include a delicious tea for all competitors. Simply Jazz quartet will be bringing the vibes post sailing, so come along, sail and socialise!
