Last Friday night I completed the Purbeck 10km, and it was hard but also a reminder of why I love running so much.
So nice to be outside at sunset, surrounded by beautiful scenery and good friends. The miles were hard but, the conversations make the time fly by, the whole experience becomes about so much more than just the finish line.
I’ve always found that taking on challenges is easier when you have people around you to support and encourage you. Whether it’s training for your first 5km, a marathon or simply trying to stay active, having a community makes all the difference.
Fitness doesn’t have to be a solo journey.
