Our Jolly Joggers have been very busy over the weekend!

We’ve had representatives all over the UK! 🇬🇧

Staying local, 5 JJ’s took part in DEKA at Derby Arena-having a break from Jolly Jogging by lifting heavy weights instead! 💪🏼

Fran,Jen and friends running and promoting the awesome Golden Gates Gallop at Alvaston parkrun!

We had a gaggle of JJ’s at the Derbyshire trail run!

And Becca headed up north to smash the Great North Run-her 1st half marathon!

Well done you energetic lot!!

Join us tomorrow evening for a jolly jog or a jolly walk!

Come exercise with us while the sun ☀️ is still shining-and before our impending doom of our winter routes kick in!

Our joggers will be heading on a river path out and back-no set distance or pace, go as far and as fast as you like, turn around and head back home!

Or for a slower paced way to get those steps in, join our friendly Walkie talkies for an evening stroll!

Both groups totally free to join-meet us at the co-op at 7pm!

Happy Bank Holiday folks!!!! ☀️

Today is the last Bank Holiday before Christmas, and we won’t be having an official run this evening, to let our leaders rest.

If you wish to meet up for an unofficial run, you’re more than welcome to arrange it through our what’s app group (message the page if you want adding) otherwise, we’ll see you next week!!

Sorry folks, forgot to post the route on the page!

The rumours are true, our run route this evening is Hopwell in reverse!

Our Walkie Talkies will be out on a walk too if running up Hopwell sounds a bit too energetic for a Monday evening!

We’ll see you all later, 7pm in the usual spot!!

Tomorrow….something a little different for our runners!!!

Our Walkie talkies will be off on a stroll as usual, or, they may be watching our Jolly Joggers as they take on that challenge everyone hated at school…. The Bleep Test!!

We’ll be meeting at the Co-op as usual, then heading on a steady jog to Borrowash Park, where we’ll do the test and see what level we can all get to. Afterwards, we’ll head on a cool down jog around Borrowash back to the Co-op.

As is the case every week, this is open to everyone, totally free to join us, whether you want to run or walk!

☀️ Join us this evening for a sunny jolly jog or a sunny walk!!

Our Walkie talkies will be getting their steps in when it’s a bit cooler, our JJ’s will be on a risley out and back route!

Remember to bring along some water and stay hydrated today, it’s going to be another hot one!!! 🥵

Our jolly joggers will be heading on a river path run, an out n back route, so go as far as you like, turn around and run back!

Our lovely Walkie Talkies will also be heading out on an evening stroll.

It looks like it’s going to be a warm one-so please make sure you bring water, and stay hydrated over the day.

We’ll see you all at 7pm by the Co-op clock.
