Dear all,

Didcot UTC have another set of exams coming up and will be unable to hire out the hall from Tuesday 25th February until Friday 7th March inclusive.

This means I am afraid there will be no practice sessions on Wednesday 26th February or 5th March.

There is the possibility of arranging an additional session at Sutton Courtenay Village hall on 25th February if anybody is interested - please let me know if you are so I can book the hall

Dear all,

Please note that due to exams at UTC there will be no table tennis sessions on the following Wednesdays:

• Wednesday 17th May

• Wednesday 24th May

• Wednesday 31st May

• Wednesday 7th June

• Wednesday 14th June

• Wednesday 21st June

So we do not go completely table tennis free for this period we have booked sessions at our league venue, Sutton Courtenay Village Hall, on the following dates:

• Tuesday 16th May

• Tuesday 23rd May

• Tuesday 6th June

• Tuesday 20th June

The hall is used by a Youth Club on Wednesdays, so we had to shift to Tuesdays.

3 – 4 tables will be available from 1900 to 2200 on each day - so fewer tables but more time

Following the Government announcement on October 31, 2020, we can confirm that table tennis clubs and leagues will NOT be able to continue from Thursday November 5, until at least December 2 and we will therefore be moving back to stage 1 of our ready to return roadmap.

The latest Government announcement paves the way for indoor table tennis to return from Saturday July 25 and we are now awaiting confirmation of the detailed Government guidance which we will share as soon as we can.

Sport England has today confirmed that it is making up to £195m of funding available to help the community sport and physical activity sector through the ongoing Covid-19 crisis.

Dear all,

David Hudson and I have just discussed this evening’s announcement by
the Prime Minister recommending that everyone should stop
non-essential contact with others and to stop all unnecessary travel.
We have decided that all DDTTA fixtures are to be cancelled with
immediate effect until further notice.
Please ensure your players and opponents are aware that no fixtures
should be played and you won't be attending.
The committee will discuss the implications as regards the remainder
of the league season and cup competitions as soon as we are able to.
We will keep you informed of further announcements.
