It wasn’t to be our day in the end, but an exceptional performance from the team and a result that could easily have gone the other way. ⚽️
After taking a deserved 1–0 lead through a superb strike from Theo 🚀, we were later matched by an equally impressive goal from Nomads. In challenging conditions ☀️, the team showed great control and quality for much of the game, making it all the more unfortunate to concede a late winner.
The effort, determination, and standard of play were outstanding throughout 👏, and everyone involved should be incredibly proud. Matches like this are decided by the finest of margins, and on another day, the outcome would have been different.
Congratulations to Nomads, and we wish them the very best in the Nationals next week 🤝.
