U9s COACH NEEDED | WEY VALLEY FC

We’re looking for someone to help coach our U9s team.
You don’t need to be a qualified coach. If you’re good with kids, enjoy football and fancy getting involved with a friendly local club, we’d love to hear from you.

⚽ Training For NEW U9s Tonight !! ⚽

After last week's successful first training session, training continues tonight for this coming seasons U9s. Only 1 or 2 more are required and the team will be ready to go.

If you are interested then any kids now in school year 4 can come down. So 8 years old as of 1st September and turning 9 at some point during the upcoming school year.

Mill Chase Rec at 6pm - 7pm.

We have a coach but we will definitely need at least 1 more. So if you are interested please message us on here or speak to Dave from Wey Valley at the session.

⚽ MINI KICKERS RETURNS THIS SUNDAY ⚽

Hello everyone!

Welcome to the new season. Mini kickers will be resuming this Sunday, the 6th September at the same time of 09:30 until 10:30.

Unfortunately however, the economics of keeping it a free session simply don't work anymore. We would love to keep it free, but it's just not possible sadly.

So for this coming season it will be a one-off £40 fee which will cover the entire season. Weather dependent, this could be up to 35 to 40 sessions between now and end of the season. We hope you agree that this is still very good value for money.

The sessions will once again be taken by Josh at CM Sports supported by new coach Oli, so a nice familiar face for all the kids who took part last year. I think everyone will agree that CM Sports did an absolutely fantastic job last year, so we are over the moon to be working with them again.

Everyone will need to register, even if you came last year, so that we have up to date information in case anything has changed. Please do so here:

Come down and say hi, talk to us about your son or daughter playing football or if you are interested in becoming part of our community of volunteers and coaches.

Or just come and smash the ball as hard as you can into our inflatable.

⚽ 2nd U8s Team is Getting Closer!!⚽

Good news to those looking to become part of our 2nd U8s team.

We believe we may have found a solution to at least start training and move things forward with a dedicated coach.

⚽ Coaches Wanted ⚽

We are currently in need of a coach or two, to take on our 2nd U8s team for this upcoming season. We have enough players but unfortunately have nobody available to take on the running of the team currently.

As a club, we will cover all the training costs that are required to get up to speed and assist/support you as you get started on your coaching journey.

We already have a strong and growing team of volunteers who are doing a fantastic job but as ever, we want to keep growing.

⚽Open Training Tomorrow next season's U8s ⚽

Reminder that tomorrow we have our 2nd and final open training session for next year's under 8 team. This is for current school year 2, going into school year 3 in September.

Mill Chase Rec at 6pm, tomorrow. Tuesday 21st July.

To make this work, we need people to step up and become coaches and managers. So if you are interested please message us on here or speak to Chris tomorrow as training.

Unfortunately if nobody puts their hand up then the 2nd team can't run despite having enough players to make it work.

🚨 We're Growing... and We Need You! ⚽💙

Wey Valley Youth FC is looking to launch a 2nd U8s team and a brand new U9s team for next season, and we'd love to welcome some new players to join us!

We're also looking for enthusiastic new coaches to help bring these teams to life. No experience? No problem! The club will fully fund all required FA qualifications and courses, so it's a great opportunity to get involved in grassroots football.
