Lasswade Karate Group Coached by World and European Champion Jim Collins since 1979. Get fit, make friends and have fun. Kids are welcome from age 4 onwards.

Lasswade Karate Group was founded in 1979 by former World, European, British and Scottish Champion Jim Collins who has fought all over the world. Jim has won several world individual and team titles, European championships and Commonwealth championships which gained him a fearsome reputation in the sport. Whist competing, Jim also spent time coaching adults and kids alike and believes in passing o

n his skills. The clubs, currently held at Lasswade, Moredun and Dalkeith are going from strength to strength and new members are always given a warm welcome. The only thing you need to bring along to learn is yourself and comfortable clothing.

Hi all, we are back up and running and looking for new students. If you have never done karate before or are looking to get back to training drop our page a message and we can give you our class times. We currently have students aged from 6 to 70 so all ages are welcome. All shares and likes are much appreciated to help us get our message out there. Thank you!

The SKF Technical Committee will be holding a Course for those of you intending to sit your Dan Grade this year. It will be on Saturday the 18th or March at Loanhead Leisure Centre.

Due to space issues at Loanhead, this will be restricted to 30 people on a first come first served basis. So it is essential that if you plan to attend you book your place.
