โœ… Anyone with an interest in coaching or learning about coaching

โœ… Aspiring coaches seeking practical experience

โœ… Young people looking to develop confidence and leadership skills

NO COST and no expectation to deliver a set number of volunteering hours just the option to join, learn and improve, without any expectations.

This is more than a coach education or short term course.

It is an opportunity for young people to develop confidence, leadership skills and practical coaching experience within a supportive learning environment.

Open to anyone with an interest in coaching, the programme combines workshops, on pitch learning, mentoring and real coaching opportunities to help participants develop the skills, knowledge and experience needed to begin their coaching journey.

Coach Mentoring Programme

Phase 1 Impact Review ๐ŸŒน

Our Coach Mentoring Programme continues to make a real impact across Bonnyrigg Rose and the local community.

Through a combination of coach education workshops, on pitch mentoring and practical coaching opportunities, we've supported the development of the next generation of coaches.

๐Ÿ‘ฅ 15 coaches supporting weekly sessions

๐Ÿ’ผ 8 coaches progressed into paid coaching employment

โฑ๏ธ 100+ volunteer coaching hours contributed

๐ŸŒŸ 150+ players supported each week

We're incredibly proud of the progress made so far and would like to thank all of the coaches, players, parents and volunteers who have supported the programme.

Super session for our 2015s last night!

Our Football Development Manager Johnny Brown used the 2015s age group as runners for a coach mentoring session, giving the young coaches the chance to observe, learn, and gain experience โšฝ๏ธ

The kids were brilliant, working hard and showing great enthusiasm. They were a real credit to themselves and the team ๐ŸŒน

A big thank you to all the players for their support. It was great to help support develop the next generation of coaches while still enjoying a fun session ๐ŸŒน

The 2015s Barca,eagles & Rosey took advantage of the light night and warmer weather.
