⚽️ All three of our squads were in action today! πŸ‘

With Eagles and Barca not having an organised ESSDA game today, we took the opportunity to keep the boys playing and get some extra game time in with the two teams facing each other this morning at Poltonhall 🌹

Lots of great football plenty of goals and of course a few offsides πŸ˜‚βš½οΈ

Meanwhile, Rosey Posey were away from home and had a great, close game against Tranent. πŸ‘

Another brilliant day of football for the boys playing, learning and most importantly enjoying themselves! πŸŒΉβš½οΈπŸ‘

NO COST and no expectation to deliver a set number of volunteering hours just the option to join, learn and improve, without any expectations.

This is more than a coach education or short term course.

It is an opportunity for young people to develop confidence, leadership skills and practical coaching experience within a supportive learning environment.

Open to anyone with an interest in coaching, the programme combines workshops, on pitch learning, mentoring and real coaching opportunities to help participants develop the skills, knowledge and experience needed to begin their coaching journey.

Phase 1 Impact Review 🌹

Our Coach Mentoring Programme continues to make a real impact across Bonnyrigg Rose and the local community.

Through a combination of coach education workshops, on pitch mentoring and practical coaching opportunities, we've supported the development of the next generation of coaches.

πŸ‘₯ 15 coaches supporting weekly sessions

πŸ’Ό 8 coaches progressed into paid coaching employment

🌟 150+ players supported each week

We're incredibly proud of the progress made so far and would like to thank all of the coaches, players, parents and volunteers who have supported the programme.

Super session for our 2015s last night!

Our Football Development Manager Johnny Brown used the 2015s age group as runners for a coach mentoring session, giving the young coaches the chance to observe, learn, and gain experience ⚽️

The kids were brilliant, working hard and showing great enthusiasm. They were a real credit to themselves and the team 🌹

A big thank you to all the players for their support. It was great to help support develop the next generation of coaches while still enjoying a fun session 🌹
