Our inaugural volunteer of the month award goes to Mary Sutherland. Mary had a well-deserved landslide victory for January's volunteer of the month for her outstanding work catering for all club events and doing an incredible job of organising and delivering service with a smile!

You don’t need to be an expert — just keen to try something new and be part of a supportive team environment. Training is a great way to build fitness, make friends, and enjoy being on the field again.

⭐️ Support Our Women’s Team Member Caitlin in Her Fundraising Challenge ⭐️

This year, Caitlin has taken on an incredible challenge: she had commited to running at least 5k every day, and will finish by running a full marathon on 31 December 2025, in memory of colleague and friend, Claire Fraser. She’s raising money for British Heart Foundation — a cause close to all our hearts.

🌟 What an incredible Women’s Rugby Development Day at Lasswade RFC! 🌟

A huge thank you to everyone who came along and made the day such a success. The energy, teamwork and passion on display were outstanding from start to finish!

We were thrilled to welcome almost 50 players from
, , , and Musselburgh RFC

The effort and enthusiasm shown in the skill sessions, game-based masterclasses, and gameplay opportunities were fantastic — a real showcase of the growing strength of women’s rugby across the region. 💪🏉

The afternoon wrapped up perfectly with great food, a brilliant social atmosphere, and plenty of laughs in the clubhouse. Events like this remind us what community rugby is all about: development, connection and fun.

A special thank you to coach Finn and all of his assistants for making the day a success. Thank you to everyone who took part, supported, coached and cheered. We can’t wait for the next one! 🔴⚪️⚫️

We have a growing girls and women's section for players who are U14, U16, U18 and Senior women 🏉

We welcome women and girls of all rugby abilities, experience levels and fitness levels to come and join our team or even to give rugby a go! We promise you will love it 🏉
