RESULTS AND HIGHLIGHTS.. ๐Ÿ

Thursday |

The Earthquakes posted 131 from their 20 overs, with Ankit Kalsi top scoring with an unbeaten 53. Despite the effort, Bradshaw Bullets chased down the target with four balls to spare.

Saturday |

The 1st XI suffered a narrow defeat at home to Prestwich after being bowled out for 110. Prestwich appeared to be cruising towards victory, but a superb fightback led by Bobby Lord (3-28), Chris Read (3-29) and George Harris (3-11) sparked a dramatic collapse, reducing the visitors to 106-8. Unfortunately, Prestwich held their nerve to edge over the line.

The 2nd XI came up against a powerful East Lancs Paper Mill 1st XI side, who amassed an imposing 362, who then backed this up with an impressive bowling performance which saw us fall to 100 all out.

Sunday |

The 3rd XI continued their excellent run of form with a convincing win over Worsley. Bobby Lord starred with the ball, claiming a superb 5-18, with Andy Ormrod (2-20) and Aiden Constantine (2-22) providing excellent support as Worsley were dismissed for just 84.

Bobby then capped off a true all-round performance, guiding the team home with an unbeaten 46 to secure another victory.

We go again this week, with the Earthquakes and all three senior sides back in action ๐Ÿ’ช๐Ÿผ

RESULTS AND HIGHLIGHTS.. ๐Ÿ

A tough day for the 1st XI as they fell to Woodbank. The visitors skittled us for just 75, and despite three early breakthroughs from Chris Read that briefly raised hopes, Woodbank comfortably reached their target in 19 overs.

The 2nd XI, however, came out on top in a thrilling low-scoring contest against Stretford. Freddie Stafford played a crucial role with a composed unbeaten 47, helping us post 98 all out.

What followed was a bowling masterclass. Soyeb produced another outstanding spell, claiming an incredible 6-19 from 13 overs, while Bobby Lord chipped in with 3-11 as Stretford were blown away for just 54, sealing a superb victory.

Sunday |

The 3rd XI welcomed Stand and immediately took control with a sensational display with the ball. Billy Taylor (2-22) and Brodie Stuttard (3-5) combined brilliantly with the new ball to reduce the visitors to 39-5. Lewis Rawsthorn then took centre stage, ripping through the remainder of the innings with a magnificent 5-13 as Stand were dismissed for 74.

Chasing a modest target, the batsmen showed patience and maturity to guide us home. Finlay Stafford top-scored with 28, while Sammy Dziobon calmly finished the job with an unbeaten 21, securing another excellent win for the club.

All 3 teams are back in action this weekend ๐Ÿ’ช๐Ÿผ๐Ÿ‘Š๐Ÿผ
