🌊 We're supporting 2026 🌊

From 13–20 June, we're joining the national water safety campaign led by RLSS UK to help raise awareness of the importance of staying safe around water.

Throughout the week, our BSS Leisure swimming lessons will focus on essential water safety knowledge and lifesaving skills, helping children build confidence and make safer choices in and around water. 🛟🏊

Don't forget to bring your pyjamas to swimming! As part of our water safety activities, swimmers will have the opportunity to experience swimming in clothing, helping them understand how it feels and how to stay safe if they ever unexpectedly enter the water fully clothed.

Together, we can help equip young people with the skills they need to enjoy water safely this summer. ☀️💦

We’ve teamed up with Met Office to help you get for summer.

Many parts of the nation are set to enjoy warm and sunny weather this weekend and over the next week. As many of us spend more time with family outdoors, whether that’s for a run, a waterside walk or an open water swim, it’s important to stay safe.
