Just been sent these lovely pictures from Fall Birch Lodge Coarse Fishery member Gavin who did a 24 hour with his son. Again the fishing continues to be quality over quantity. They had 3 decent Tench and just the 1 double. Better than a blank.
We've been investing in the future by spending yet more money on stock for Fall Birch after another winter of constant Cormorant predation. Thanks to the Angling Trust we were given a grant to help build some cages to act as fish refuges and as well as ropes over the water towards the end of Autumn, we hope that more juveline fish will survive to adulthood.
20 new Carp December 2025 (mainly 5lb)
250 Crucian Carp April 2026
150 Tench April 2026
250 Commons, Mirrors, Ghosties April 2026
The latest batch of fish are very small but will hopefully grow quickly.
