Mossbank JFC is a Bolton based Junior football club located in Smithills, Bolton. We have over 500 members and 36 current teams from U7s to U21s. We also facilitate the Little Green Dragons from 3-5 years olds on Agility - Balance - Control and the fundamentals of football. Moss Bank Junior Football Club was formed in April 2006 by a group of volunteers, who’s aim it was to provide children and yo

ung people within the communities of Halliwell, Heaton, Smithills and Johnson Fold the opportunity to participate and play football in a safe supervised environment. So that they can progress and develop to achieve there full potential in life. To sustain the aims of Moss Bank Junior Football Club, all managers and coaches have a minimum level One 1st4sport qualification. We also have a growing number of Level Two qualified coaches and are positively engaged with a on-going rolling programme of training volunteers to the required standards of Child Protection and FA Coaching (level 1 and 2 Qualification) to enhance the safe environment and quality of coaching that at present the volunteers at Moss Bank Junior Football Club can offer. We are an FA Charter Standard Club that are at the forefront of developing the Moss Bank facilities to further enhance the local community and childrens sport within Bolton.

🚨 CLUB NOTICE – TRAINING TONIGHT CANCELLED 🚨

Following the current Yellow/Amber Weather Warning and FA Hot Weather Guidance, Moss Bank Junior Football Club has taken the decision to cancel all training sessions scheduled for tonight.

The safety and wellbeing of our players, coaches, volunteers and families is our highest priority. As a club, we have a duty of care to all of our young members and, with temperatures expected to remain exceptionally high, we believe this is the right decision.

We appreciate everyone’s understanding and cooperation.

Please keep an eye on club communications for any further updates regarding training and fixtures.

Stay safe, stay hydrated and take care in the hot weather.

With the hot weather today, could all players attending training tonight please arrive wearing sun cream and bring plenty of fluids to stay hydrated 💧⚽️

Coaches will be giving regular water breaks throughout the sessions.

The clubhouse will also be open serving cold drinks and ice lollies 🍦⚽️🧊
