Affectionately known as ‘Duggy’ (because, of course, we have two Noahs in the team!), Noah D put in a defensive masterclass today. 🧱💪

He won the majority of his duels, constantly provided cover for his teammates and seemed to be in exactly the right place at exactly the right time all afternoon.

As coaches, these are the performances we absolutely love to see. Committed, composed, intelligent and fearless — Duggy read the game brilliantly and made defending look effortless. He never switched off, backed his teammates and showed real maturity in some important moments.

A hugely deserved award for a player who gave everything for the team. Some seriously classy defending from MOTM Noah D! 👏👏

⚽ Narrow defeat for the Legends as they fail to shine as the points are gifted to Westbury JFC Raiders.

In a reversed fixture, our U15s were narrowly beaten by Westbury this morning.

With Noah Mc, Billy and Coach Barlow all watching their beloved Bolton, alongside three lads returning from midweek illness, it was always going to be a big ask! 😅

Despite the result, there were plenty of positives to take. The lads battled hard and produced some lovely, well-crafted goals from Lakari and Roman. 👏⚽

We’ll take the positives, learn from the negatives and go again. 💪

⚽️ IT’S MATCH DAY!! ⚽️

It’s finally here… the start of our league campaign! 🙌

Today we take on Westbury JFC Raiders — but it’s been a bit of a right week for the lads! 😂

We’ve had some unexpected visitors decide to park their caravans on our pitch, meaning we’ve had to reverse the fixture and head over to BL8.

A massive thank you to Westbury JFC Raiders for kindly allowing us to play the game on their pitch. 👏⚽️

After a really positive pre-season, we head into the new campaign full of hope and looking forward to what we hope will be a competitive and enjoyable season.

We know the Raiders well, having faced them last season when they were in our league. It was a couple of very close games — a narrow defeat away and a narrow victory at home — so we’re expecting another tough one today!

Now it’s time for the legends to get the league campaign underway. 💪

Let’s hope they can bring those 3 points back to BL2! ⚽️

🤍⚽ A MASSIVE LEGENDS THANK YOU! ⚽🖤

Grassroots football is about so much more than what happens between the white lines. It’s about the people behind the scenes, the families, the friendships and the people who constantly go that extra mile for our Legends!

And today, we want to give a massive shout-out to Gemma — and, of course, not forgetting Mark — from the Mosley Arms! 👏🍻

Since Riley B became our keeper back at U10s, Gemma has always gone above and beyond for the Legends. Whether it’s sorting out rooms for presentation nights, helping the team whenever she can, or getting stuck in with whatever is needed, the support has never gone unnoticed.

She’s currently working her magic organising everything for our Legends Family Fun Day on 20th September 2026, and we honestly can’t thank her enough for everything she does.

And on match days… even better! 😂 They’ll turn up with a crate of Aldi’s finest bottled water to keep the Legends hydrated — and, of course, Barlow! 💧😂😅

That kind of support means so much to a grassroots team. It’s people like Gemma and Mark who help make this more than just a football team — it makes us a proper football family.
