Tri-Rivington offers expert triathlon coaching for athletes of all levels, from total beginners to seasoned competitors. Located in Bolton, we deliver coached swim, bike and run sessions every day and offer 1-1 training plans to enhance strength, endurance, and race-day performance. With over 20 years of experience and comprehensive support, our expert coaches ensure you train smarter, not harder.

Here is the briefing we did last year it’s the same run and bike, the only change is the relay is 2 people not 3 👍

Good morning, today we’re thinking of Ray our former Head Coach and a huge part of the Tri-Rivington family. 💙

It’s hard to believe another year has passed since we lost Ray. He is massively missed by everyone who had the privilege of knowing him, not only as a coach, but as a friend, mentor and someone who gave so much to his club.

Ray’s passion, knowledge and belief in people helped shape Tri-Rivington into the club it is today. His influence is still there in every session, every race and every new member who joins our family.

So today, we remember Ray and everything he gave us. Forever part of the Tri-Rivington family.

Never forgotten. Always missed. 🏊‍♂️🚴‍♂️🏃‍♂️💙

What a fantastic day in the saddle , weather was perfect, the company was perfect, we had 2 groups today , 1st group had a little trip to Knott end and added a bit on after so people could hit the 100 mile and second group had a little trip over to rufford, big well done to everyone 💙🚴🏻‍♂️

RAY MCGLOIN DUATHLON

🚴‍♂️🏃‍♀️ it’s time to start booking onto this year’s Ray McGloin Duathlon on 6th September.

Always a brilliant event with a great atmosphere, plenty of support and a fantastic challenge for all abilities. Whether you’re racing hard, giving duathlon a go for the first time, or just coming along to support, it would be great to see you there. £25 Individual entry & £35 for the relay option - Medals, goody bag, limited t-shirts

🏊‍♂️🏃‍♀️ Huge congratulations to Ste and Gillian on completing a seriously challenging Swim Run event in the Lakes! What an incredible achievement.

This event tested them in every way – physically and mentally – but they absolutely smashed it from start to finish. The determination, resilience and teamwork they showed throughout were inspiring to see.

Swim Run is never easy, and taking on the terrain and conditions of the Lake District makes it even tougher. Ste and Gillian dug deep, supported each other every step (and stroke!) of the way, and crossed the finish line with a performance to be proud of.

Massive kudos. We are incredibly proud of you both. Well done, team! 👏💙💛

Where do we start … 🤷‍♂️but here goes. Fridays Night runner is an amazing event with 2 distances . Stuart, Stephen and Nigel took on the 5k , while Gillian, Donna , Glen and Dawd Ash completed the 10k.
Dave traveled to Haigh Hall park run on Saturday. He set a new PB for this course.
Lesley went to Runcorn where she had another amazing race in the Runcorn Half Marathon. Lesley finished first in her age group an inspirational result.
Bolton 70.3 Ironman, as a club had great turnout for this event. Joe, Stephen Martyn, Will Najeeb, David, Mark, Donna, Latif, Tiago, Isaline, Alex, Nigel and Debbie absolutely smashed the distance. Dean, Gillian, Megan, Dunc, Jimmy and Asif were unbelievable in their relay team’s.
Special mention to Martyn and Isaline for their podium positions. Isaline finishing 3rd in age category and Martyn 2nd in age category. Well done everyone we are so proud of you. 💙
