This Sunday, we'll be holding the Bolney Cricket Club 'End of Season Awards' at the Vicarage Ground.

This has been a phenomenal year for the club on so many levels, so we want to make sure the celebrations match.

🏏 1st XI competing at the highest level in the club's history (Sussex Division 2)
🏏 First time the club have had a women's team competing in the Women's Softball League
🏏 4 Junior teams competing in the Sussex Junior Leagues (U9 - U12s).
🏏 U12s winning the Sussex Junior Shield League
🏏 U11s and u12s competing in their first SJCF weeks

This will be a fun-packed day with a 6-a-side tournament, inflatables for the kids, food on offer and bar open all day. Bolney Wine Estate will also be in attendance so you'll have the opportunity to sample some of their impressive wines!

It's an open invite for anyone in the village to come down and see what a brilliant club they have on their doorstep!

Wendy as most know, was so much more than the tea lady. Without Wendy we probably wouldn't be where we are now.

A fitting day with the Jack Collins XI being presented the Lavender Cup by our president, John Snow.

The U9’s Bolney CC Blasters comprehensively triumphed in their final game of their first competitive season together.

Facing a fledgling Plumpton side, the team demonstrated how very far they've come in such a short space of time. Tight bowling, sensible running and taking catches when offered, all contributing to a satisfying final fixture.

On behalf of the coaching staff, we want to thank all the parents for coming along every Sunday morning and supporting. We've really enjoyed it. The boys have been awesome. We hope they've enjoyed it even half as much as we have. Let's do it all again next year!

🏏 Bolney Junior Cricket Update 🏏

Bolney U11 teams continue to shine with their third win on the bounce to propel them up the league table. A resounding victory on Sunday saw them score 325/0 to record a brilliant victory against Balcombe, which was followed by another win in the afternoon against Rottingdean.

Developing our Colts section has been a huge focus this season, and it's incredible to see how far we've come.

Last year we had a single U10 team with just 14 junior members. This season, we've grown to 102 young cricketers across:

⭐ All Stars (ages 5–8)
💙 Dynamos Girls (ages 7–11)
🏏 U9s (Incrediball)
🏏 Two U11 Hardball Pairs teams
🏏 U12 Hardball Pairs team

Every Friday evening, the Vicarage Ground in Bolney is buzzing with activity. It's fantastic to see so many children enjoying cricket, while families come together with the bar and BBQ open throughout the evening. It's become a real community event and something we're incredibly proud of.

A huge thank you to all of our volunteer coaches, helpers, parents and sponsors who have made this possible. None of this growth happens without your time, energy and support.

Bolney Cricket Club have run very successful All Star programmes over the last few years. We currently have availability so any 5-8 year old who wishes to join and enjoy a Friday evening run around, don't delay and get them signed up. Remember, our programme runs for 12 weeks for the price of 8.

New this year for us is GIRLS ONLY Dynamos. Currently we have 10 free spaces. Send an email to secure your daughter's space before they all go.
