The BCG looking fresh 🔥

A huge thank you to Bollington Town Council for their generous support of Bollington CC 🏏

Their grant has helped us upgrade our facilities with a new boundary rope and sightscreen, improving the experience for players and spectators alike. 🤩

96 runs is nice, 96 runs and a 4fer is even nicer.

A quality all round performance to lead his lads to victory! 🏏

There were some other standout performers this weekend that we must mention:

Ty with a mammoth 124 in Sunday’s cup match against Bunbury. 🏆

Alec Terry with his maiden Bollington 5 wicket haul! 🤯

And finally young Abe Brammer for 53*, a maiden half century and the second junior to reach the figure already this season! 🎉

It was tough to pick a Signati Roofing Ltd Player of the Week this time…

But the chairman pips it for his ridiculous strike rate!! A joke of a knock from Dawsy who was built for T20 cricket. He demolished the Alderley Edge attack with power and ease, hitting the ball to all areas of the ground. 🔥

It would be wrong of us not to mention the other brilliant displays from the boys this week:

Yak with yet another ton! 140 from 116 balls leading the 1st XI to victory. 🤯

Zaheer with his maiden BCC century. First of many I’m sure! ✈️

Tom Brierley somehow getting 4 wickets. He should be bowling more often! 🤔

And finally 14 year old Caleb Grimes was the first junior to score a 50 this year. Well batted Caleb! 💪
