We’re delighted to welcome Colin Carruthers to Bollington Town FC as Assistant Manager.

A UEFA-qualified outfield and goalkeeper coach, Colin brings a wealth of experience from across the North West, including spells with Pilkington, Cheadle Town and Eccleshall, alongside extensive experience in the Cheshire and Manchester leagues.

Colin joins Paul Cordock’s management team ahead of the new season, and we’re excited to have him on board.

We’re delighted to announce the appointment of Paul Cordock as our new First Team Manager ahead of the 2026/27 season. 💙💛

Paul joins the club with a wealth of experience in the Cheshire football scene, holding a UEFA B Licence and working as a qualified PE teacher. Most recently First Team Coach at Cheadle Town, Paul has also managed Maine Road Reserves and been part of the management team at Whaley Bridge.

Paul said:

“Delighted to be joining an ambitious club that’s already in a strong place. Can’t wait to meet the lads, get stuck into pre-season, and kick on for the season ahead in the Cheshire Prem.”

From our first conversations, it was clear Paul shares the ethos, ambition and values of Bollington Town FC, and we’re excited for what’s ahead under his leadership.

150 appearances between the sticks for Matt Joyce — what a milestone. A goalkeeper who’s given us years of commitment, big moments, and match‑saving performances, always stepping up when it mattered. From the graft in training to the calm under pressure on matchdays, he’s been a constant for this club. A proper servant to the badge and a standard‑setter for everyone around him. Here’s to our No.1 and his first 150 — and plenty more to come.
