Happy New Year! ✨
We hope you had a lovely break and some well deserved switch off time. I don’t know about you but it feels like we’ve been off for weeks which is very rare as it normally flies by! Things will be a little quiet here at TOMIA the next few weeks. As some of you know we’ve been working on our mastectomy friendly collection but it is proving very time consuming - our priority is to create an range of swimwear suited for that is also made sustainably and locally with recycled materials. So far pricing to do so has been very high meaning the collection would not be as affordable and accessible as we had hoped.
That said we will continue to dig because we have some exciting options to review and know there is a solution out there. We’ll be sharing updates here when we have some movement.
If you are adapting to your post-BC body or you know someone that is, we’d love to connect. Any feedback will be welcomed to help us build the swimwear we’ve all been waiting for, to support post mastectomy bodies, post lumpectomies or asymmetrical chests following treatment.
