🏉💜💚 THE SECRET BEHIND OUR FANTASTIC PITCHES! 💚💜🏉

One of the questions we’re regularly asked by visiting teams and supporters is “How on earth do you keep your pitches in such fantastic condition?”

Well, the answer is simple… a huge amount of hard work, dedication and investment! 💪

Our incredible team of volunteer groundsmen, led by the brilliant Mike Lewin, put in countless hours throughout the year to ensure our pitches are amongst the best around. 👏

But it’s not just hard graft. As a club, we also invest significant amounts of money into keeping our playing surfaces level, healthy and properly nourished.

🚜 Today is another example of that investment, with our pitches receiving specialist Shockwave treatment. This process breaks up compacted soil beneath the surface, improving drainage and allowing rainwater to escape much more effectively.

The result? Better playing surfaces and a much greater chance of getting games played, even when the British weather has other ideas! 🌧️🏉

So next time you step onto one of our pitches, spare a thought for the volunteers and the work that goes on behind the scenes.

Great pitches don’t happen by accident!

A massive thank you to Mike Lewin and all our grounds team. You’re absolute legends! 👏💜💚
