A few years ago I was the person avoiding the gym floor, not owning it.
I didn’t grow up confident in a gym. I grew up in gymnastics, so I knew what my body could do under a coach’s eye, in a structured environment with clear rules. Stepping out of gymnastics into crossfit again hnder a coaches eye but it was when i stepped into a normal gym alone was a completely different kind of confidence, the kind nobody teaches you.
And that alongside the injury. Suddenly I wasn’t just unsure, I was starting from nothing, terrified of making things worse, having to relearn my body from the ground up. Deep core work, controlled movement, patience I didn’t naturally have.
That process taught me more than any qualification did. It’s why I don’t hand clients a generic plan and hope for the best. I build from where someone actually is, whether that’s rebuilding after injury, walking into a gym for the first time, or just feeling like everyone else already knows what they’re doing and you don’t.
If that sounds familiar and you want someone in your corner who actually gets it, DM me COACH and let’s talk about what that could look like for you
