Attended the Coaches Breakfast Heron Tennis and Ace Tennis Coaching & Academy organised by Cornwall Tennis - County.

Good to get the latest updates on performance tennis, open court tennis and hear about sensory tennis.

Nice to catch up with the other tennis coaches in Cornwall, reconnect and do a little networking .

🎾 Tennis Summer Party 🏝️

An action packed session for our junior tennis players. Yellow and Orange ball matches for the older players, before joining in with mini matches, team games, nerf wars, hockey and bouncy castle.

Well done to everyone that attended and great way to celebrate the school holidays.

FREE f2f LTA Tennis Activator Training Course (ideal for volunteers or L1’s)

When: Friday 21st August
Where: Bodmin Leisure Centre
Cost: Free
Who: Anyone who is interested in facilitating tennis activity. No tennis experience needed, just enthusiasm and willingness to get involved.
Tutor: Tom Vinall

Additional information: Free parking is available at the Leisure Centre. Barista Coffee and changing facilities on site. This course is predominately practical and therefore participants should dress appropriately.

*This three-hour course will introduce the key skills required to deliver fun, safe and inclusive tennis sessions. With a focus on organisation, communication and differentiation, the session gives participants an understanding of Activator session format and flow, the STEP framework and inclusion. Participants should leave feeling more confident to facilitate great tennis experiences at their venues for new and existing players!
