Don't we scrub up well 👔✨

We had such a great time at the AIP Trade Show & Awards last week - it was the perfect opportunity to catch up with our customers and partners, fully introduce our new team members, Richard and Steve, to the industry, and have interesting conversations about the future of indoor play.

It was an honour to be shortlisted for the Innovation Award for our Rugged Lighting solution. Huge congratulations to Scribbleton for winning the title 👏🥇

A big thanks to the Association of Indoor Play as always for organising and running such a fantastic event. The AIP community is an integral part of the UK indoor play industry, advocating for the importance of play for children and supporting operators and suppliers to succeed - we're proud to be a part of it.

Rugged in Romania ✈️

Ben, Jo & Matt, covering Design, Product Development and Quality Assurance & Testing, were over in Romania last week to meet the Airquee team and collaborate on something exciting 👀

Want to understand the state of the UK indoor play industry? 🔎

The Association of Indoor Play are doing their annual State of the Industry Survey, which gathers insight from hundreds of organisations across the country - and they can't do it without your support!

You can contribute even if you're not an AIP Member, as long as you operate an indoor play, farm park, role play, trampoline park or mixed leisure park in the UK 🎯

The survey is a vital resource, giving participating operators invaluable benchmark data on their operational and financial performance, and producing an industry‑wide report that supports shared insight and improvement.

It's Mental Health Awareness Week 🗣️

Everyone has mental health, which can fluctuate from poor to good throughout our lives, so it's important we understand how to support those around us and look after ourselves, especially at work (where we spend a third of our lives!).

At Rugged, we've been empowering our teams to understand and support mental health in the workplace by providing Mental Health First Aid training by Mental Health First Aid England - a brilliant course we can't recommend enough!

To commemorate the week, we've asked our colleagues how they choose to unwind, de-stress and improve wellbeing. Check out the top ways we prioritise our mental health 👇

I think it's safe to say we're an active, social bunch! Physical activity of any kind is amazing for wellbeing, and something we value deeply at Rugged.
