This is a hard one to write but here we go.
This will be the last season for St Tudy Youth AFC, we have taken the difficult decision to fold the club.
This is due to a lot of factors that we feel will be detrimental to the players development, so we feel now is the right time to do this.
We managed to get one final season out of the club following the missive changes from last season.
First of all we want to thank this amazing bunch of little legends that kept football in the village, even with all the problems throughout the season included an insane amount of rearranged matches due to waterlogged pitches, they have kept battling and turned up week after week to training in all weathers.
The committee hope they all continue their footballing careers at other clubs and continue to develop and grow their love for this wonderful sport.
I want to thank the current and past committees, managers, coaches, players & parents that have helped out over the years,
once an oranges always an orange!!!
It’s been a brilliant ride but sadly now the time has come to say goodbye.
I’m sure at some point the club could return, but for now we are taking a rest, the orange shirts will but packed away safe for whatever the future holds.
Its great news that Big Shots Youth FC will continuing to run and grow in St Tudy, so if you’re looking for womens, girls or under 9’s mixed football give them a shout and you’ll get to take to the hallowed turf of St Tudy.
