A successful weekend with the horses🌟🌟.
Bolli did a lovely job at Colraine winning the Medium overall.
Dear Sapper, who was very underprepared as he has been on the back burner whilst we have been building at home produced a very honest and obedient test in Elementary 5. He was very happy to be back out.

And to top it off our Chark Farm Neddie the scarecrow horse (who very naughtily ditched his rider) won the Lanlivery Feast week scarecrow competition 😄

As usual a bit late to the social media party but...

We had a great trip up to Bicton Arena for the Harbour Holidays ICC dressage with Teeny and Sapper.
Team Cornwall were all brilliant, it was a super weekend and great to catch up with friends and make new ones! And I played my first game of bingo!

We were really pleased with Teeny who is improving all the time and coped well the the atmosphere of the weekend and dressed arenas. She had good scores with just a blip in each test but some much better bits inbetween!

Sapper was awesome 😇 he is such a trier. He finished 6th overall in the Elementary 🎉.

Super time at the Petplan Area dressage festival - Moreton Equestrian centre yesterday with Teeny and Sapper.

We went to gain experience with them both at the bigger events, especially for Sapper who is very low milage. Teeny can get nervous in the white boards, this has been hugely improving but the flowers and extra judges were going to be ten challenge.

They both did a brilliant job and it was the cherry 🍒 on the cake that Sapper finished in the ribbons with a 7th in the Novice and 10th in the Elementary.
Teeny really listened and did lovely 'clear round' even when there was a commotion in the warm up and an air jacket bang as we went up the centre line! We couldn't have asked for more 💕

Bay c**t foal, 6 months old. By exciting young Connemara Stallion, Dun Shadow Dancer, who has recently started his ridden career proving very versatile and trainable, already having great success in the show jumping arena. Out of our Sport Horse mare Wellpark Portia, whose siblings....

We had a super last outing to The Grange with Teeny and Sapper a couple weeks ago. Really pleased for Teeny who managed to overcome her nerves and produce a much more relaxed test to gain her final qualifying score.

Delighted that all 3 amigos have qualified for the Winter Area festival 2024.

Thank you to all who support especially Jane and Amanda for being such supportive owners.

Super day on Saturday with Sapper and Jane's Bolli at Duchy College BD.

Both horses did a fab job. Sapper came away with almost 70% for 2nd in the Elementary. Such a genuine boy in his second bd and first visit to Duchy.

And Bolli had a 2nd in the Medium, really pleased with her she had some real highlights showing more expression with just a couple of exuberant mistakes. But we enjoyed how much she was enjoying herself!

Getting some well deserved grass and enjoying the evening sun after a successful first BD out and first attempt at Elementary for Sapper (Optical Illusion) winning his Elementary class over all today at Tall Trees.

This is such a sweet horse, he missed out on the summer due to an injury so is very happy to able to make his debut today.

Teeny also had a good day also overcoming the spooky arena nerves to produce 2 nice Elementary tests of nearly 64% lots more to come from her now.

As usual I am not good at keeping up to date here but we have had a good season so far 😃.

We are delighted to have Bolli back out competing on good form producing two wins last weekend at St Leonards in the Medium classes with nearly 68%

Eventing was a mixed bag for Teeny this year with some real progress and highlights of clear rounds in the show jumping which has always been a weaker phase and some super dressage scores including a pb of 23%. Unfortunately then her hay fever became a bit troublesome but ☝️ with a lot of team work we think we have got that sussed for next year. For now we are aiming for BD and a winter of SJ.

And it has been a super summer teaching lots of brilliant clients who are making great progress it is just super being part of the journey and seeing the progress made and partnerships developed. Bring on autumnal training 🍁🍂

Home from a fantastic weekend at Bicton competing at the Senior Home Internationals. Competitors for England representing North & East and supporting home region South West.
I am so proud of little Bolli, she was super honest in both of her tests and danced her way into 5th yesterday and 4th today in really good strong competition.

She has finished 6th overall! We are delighted. 🌟🌟🌟🌟
