U16 Greens go back to back on tournament weekends two Sundays in a row! 👏🏆

Travelling to Bradford last weekend the lads managed to win it on penalties to continue their impressive record in both shootouts and tournaments.

This week the lads took part in the Stobswood tournament and made it 3 out of 3, beating Stobswood in the final in a penalty shootout. Great character shown again from the team going 1 down in the final with less than 5 minutes to go they still managed to keep their heads and got an equaliser which took it to penalties. You know the rest, they went on to win through penalties in their usual fashion.

A brilliant start to life at home for our newly formed JFC team tonight. If you haven’t heard already our JFC side are a team made up of current Spartans Juniors players from our U17/U18 sides, ex players and even current coaches of our younger teams after recognising a pathway was needed to our Junior players to make their way into open age Football. Tonight, albeit a pre-season friendly showed exactly what we’re about as a club which is reflected in the blend the JFC squad has put together with the lads showcasing some top football.
